Verified Purchase. The product was "used very good and tested", and the item received was much better than that sounds, when assembled. It works well enough to consider nearly new, although the appearance of the video outputs showed minor usage.

I have not found anything that does not appear to work right! The shipping was delayed due to weather but it arrived in good shape and only a day or two late. This doesn't appear to be over advertised or overpriced to me at all. This did NOT. Description on the product is why the rating isn't neutral or better.

Good motherboard. But other than that, it is mostly solid and can even support higher end graphics cards if you are not content with the DVI outputs that come with the board. The board wouldn't post while using a manufacturer approved compatible CPU and memory. After using my PCI motherboard tester and fixing a myriad of problems clearing BIOS, arranging memory to slots that were opposite of ones indicated by motherboard manual, and a few other jumper pin configurations , I managed to get it to POST.

That was only the start of the headaches that is this subpar economy board. The board was not stable at all. Now the board runs fine but takes a long time to POST even though the motherboard tester will run through all the codes and show no errors. Overall, even for the price, I would not recommend this board to anyone.

Add to compare Don't compare. Brand : The general trademark of a manufacturer by which the consumer knows its products. A manufacturer can have multiple brand names. Some manufacturers license their brand names to other producers. Product name : Product name is a brand's identification of a product, often a model name, but not totally unique as it can include some product variants. Product name is a key part of the Icecat product title on a product data-sheet.

Product code : The brand's unique identifier for a product. Multiple product codes can be mapped to one mother product data-sheet if the specifications are identical. We map away wrong codes or sometimes logistic variants. Category The motherboard or mainboard is the component that connects all the different parts of your computer. Often it has some integrated components like a sound card, enabling your computer to play sound, or a network card, to connect your computer to the network.

The standard form factor size for motherboards is ATX, you need at least a midi-tower to fit one of those in. Micro-ATX motherboards are often more complete and have more onboard devices, like a video board and fit in smaller cases, but are generally less expandable. Processors are not included with the Desktop Board and must be purchased separately. If your memory modules do not support SPD, you will see a notification to this effect on the screen at power up. The BIOS will attempt to configure the memory controller for normal operation. The Desktop Board supports the dual or single channel memory configurations defined below. System resources and hardware such as PCI Express require physical memory address locations that can reduce available addressable system memory.

This could result in a reduction of as much as 1 GB or more of physical addressable memory being available to the operating system and applications, depending on the system configuration and operating system. The component also provides integrated graphics capabilities supporting 3D, 2D, and display capabilities. Support for digital and analog displays up to x at 75 Hz refresh rate QXGA ; also supports x resolution for full High Definition video playback quality. Table 3 lists the supported functions for the front panel and back panel audio jacks.

Intel AMT 5. With Intel AMT, IT organizations can easily get accurate platform information, and can perform remote updating, diagnostics, debugging and repair of a system, regardless of the state of the operating system or the power state of the system. Figure 3 shows the location of the Intel AMT status indicator. Each partition behaves like a virtual machine VM and provides isolation and protection across partitions. This hardware-based virtualization solution, along with virtualization software, enables multiple usages such as server consolidation, activity partitioning, workload isolation, embedded management, legacy software migration, and disaster recovery.

Hardware support for processor virtualization enables simple, robust and reliable VMM software. VMM software relies on hardware support on operational details for the handling of events, exceptions, and resources allocated to virtual machines.

Intel VT-d provides additional performance, security and flexibility by providing the VMM with the following capabilities:. Interrupt remapping: for supporting isolation and routing of interrupts from devices and external interrupt controllers to appropriate VMs. Reliability: for recording and reporting to system software DMA and interrupt errors that may otherwise corrupt memory or impact VM isolation.

Additionally, a thirdparty VMM may also be required. Intel TXT will provide a hardware-based security foundation that will help enable greater levels of protection for information stored, processed and exchanged on the PC. These Intel Trusted Execution Technology capabilities enable more secure platforms to address the increasing frequency and sophistication of software-based attacks.

Additionally, thirdparty software may also be required. USB 1. This may be required to accommodate operating systems that do not support USB 2. One channel is configured as an eSATA channel. The Desktop Board supports Intel Rapid Recover Technology which enables fast and easy recovery of your data in the event of a hard drive failure. It allows you to maintain a complete copy of your primary or master drive onto a second hard drive, the recovery drive. If the master hard drive should fail, either from a mechanical failure or the result of a virus, recovery is as simple as booting from the recovery drive.

Intel Rapid Recover Technology also provides the added benefit of allowing the recovery drive to be mounted as a read-only volume so you can quickly copy files from the recovery drive when individual files need to be recovered. If you install a Serial ATA device such as a hard drive in your computer, the autoconfiguration utility in the BIOS automatically detects and configures the device for your computer.

You can override the auto-configuration options by specifying manual configuration in the BIOS Setup program. A supervisor password and a user password can be set for the BIOS Setup and for booting the computer, with the following restrictions:. Setup options are then available for viewing and changing depending on whether the supervisor or user password was entered. The password prompt is displayed before the computer is booted.

If only the supervisor password is set, the computer boots without asking for a password. If both passwords are set, you can enter either password to boot the computer. Using both hardware and software, the TPM protects encryption and signature keys at their most vulnerable stages—operations when the keys are being used unencrypted in plain-text form.

The TPM is specifically designed to shield unencrypted keys and platform authentication information from software-based attacks. One major function of the monotonic counters is for anti-replay protection of the internal Intel TPM data. Figure 1. Major Board Components Table 2 lists the components identified in Figure 1. Page Table 2. Page Block Diagram Product Description 1. Figure 2. Page Legacy Considerations Other processors may be supported in the future. This board is designed to support processors with a maximum wattage of 95 W.

The processors listed above are only supported when falling within the wattage requirements of the board. See the Intel web site listed below for the most up-to-date list of supported processors. This mode offers the highest throughput for real world applications.
